We investigate molecular processes and signalling pathways in the entire organism. This helps us to diagnose diseases at an early stage and to better treat patients.
Our research programme aims at visualising and quantifying non-invasively molecular target structures throughout the body, and at using radioactive pharmaceuticals for treatment of disease.
We continuously invest into infrastructure, training and education of our staff, and we are in regular close contact with international cooperation partners in science and technology so as to contribute to the rapid transfer of new findings into the clinical setting. This results in innovative approaches to prevention, diagnostics and therapy.
We strive to share our scientific advancements with the public, whilst actively involving our patients, in order to do justice to the social value of our endeavours.
